Ccleaner được tạp chí PC World bầu chọn là tiện ích dọn dẹp hàng đầu hiện nay và cũng là một trong những phần mềm miễn phí được ưa thích nhất.

Sau một thời gian dùng, các chương trình máy tính chạy càng ngày càng ỳ ạch. Nếu người dùng không thạo về máy tính, tốt nhất là dùng các phần mềm hỗ trợ để giải quyết tình trạng trên.

Nhấn nút Run Cleaner, chương trình sẽ quét toàn bộ máy tính để xác định những phần không cần thiết, những phần rác của máy tính như History, Cache, Temp... và xóa sạch. Sau khi xóa, máy tính sẽ chạy chạy nhanh hơn.

Giao diện chính của CCleaner gồm bốn phần chính: Cleaner, Registry, Tools và Options.

- CCleaner: Liệt kê toàn bộ các file có thể nằm trong ổ cứng, sản phẩm của IE, Windows Explorer tới các công cụ của Windows XP và các phần mềm phổ biến như FireFox, Opera, Alcohol 120%.. Chỉ cần nhấn 'Analyze- Run Cleaner’ và CCleaner sẽ tự lo phần còn lại. Việc xoá cache/temporary files của Internet Explorer & Firefox, Opera sẽ khiến các trình duyệt này load chậm hơn một chút ở lần sử dụng sau, nhưng cũng giúp xoá các lỗi khó chịu gây ra bởi tính năng ‘restore seasson’ của chúng.

- Registry: sửa chữa các lỗi registry, với hiệu quả gần tương đương các phần mềm hàng chục đô la chuyên sửa lỗi loại này. Cũng tương tự mục Cleaner, chọn Scan for Issuers và Fix

- Tools: Giúp quản lý các phần mềm cài trong máy và cung cấp danh mục các phần mềm khởi động cùng Windows (Startup). Uninstaller hoạt động tương tự như Add and Remove Softwares trong Control Panel của Windows, nhưng cung cấp thêm chức năng ‘Rename’/’Delete Entry’ sửa trực tiếp Registry. Hai chức năng này giúp “xử lý” các phần mềm đã bị xoá khỏi PC, nhưng vì lý do nào đó bộ phận gỡ cài đặt vẫn “cứng đầu” nằm lại danh sách

- Options: thay đổi các thiết lập của CCleaner - từ ngôn ngữ hiển thị, xoá cookies, và vài tuỳ chọn khác.

Features of CCleaner 2.0:
* Complete rebuild in C++
With the requirements for a portable version, 64-bit compatibility and Windows Vista increasing against the limitations of the old architecture. We decided to rebuild the entire CCleaner application in highly optimized C++.
* Faster analyzing and cleaning
Each scanning process was rewritten from scratch and fully optimized. The result being a noticeable speed increase in all areas.
* Portable
CCleaner can now run from a USB thumbdrive and be installed/run on a computer without a complicated setup process.
* Compact
The rewrite removed all external file dependencies, so the main EXE is now half the size of the original program and support files.
* Redesigned User Interface
The original CCleaner user interface was looking a little dated, so the GUI was redesigned with a modern look, but without sacrificing speed or usability. New icons were created for the interface and the main program icon was updated with a more modern style.
* Exclusions
It is now possible to specify files, folders and registry keys to ignore from the cleaning process.

- Improved Uninstall screen detection algorithm.
- Improved memory usage to avoid GDI leaks.
- Fixed issue with Sticky Notes being detected as Missing startup item.
- Fixed "Edit" and "Remove" button availability on Include/Exclude screen.
- Fixed various GUI bugs.

Mình đã từng dùng cCleaner nhưng mình thấy nCleaner hay hơn.
Nó có nhiều tùy chọn nâng cao hơn như Tweak, chức năng bảo về bằng mật khẩu... À nhưng hình như không có tùy chọn xóa file bao nhiêu lần thì phải.
Ừm, nói chung là nếu muốn giao diện thân thiện dễ sử dụng thì dùng cCleaner, còn nâng cao hơn thì dùng nCleaner.
